The Parent & Professional Institute at the Models of Pride Conference was created for parents of LGBTQ youth and professionals who support them. The conference is an opportunity to meet other LGBTQ-supportive professionals, gain exposure to new ideas and information, and attend FREE specialized workshops led by experts who have a wealth of knowledge and resources for youth and their providers. We will be offering over 25 workshops that will cover a number of subjects including:
• Dating & healthy relationships
• Sexual Health
• Faith & Spirituality
• Supporting trans* and gender-expansive youth
• Legal Rights
• Mental Health
• Child Welfare
• Juvenile Justice
• En Español
We would love for you attend the conference as a representative of your agency, school, or program. Connect with other providers for your own professional growth and gain new information on best practices for supporting and affirming LGBTQ youth.
Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Space permitting, you may register on the day of the event. Check-in begins at 7:30am at Alumni Park. You can purchase dinner on-site at The Ronald Tutor Campus Center (TCC) or at restaurants surrounding USC.
