Dear Community Supporter,

Friends of Project 10 Inc. is proud to announce the 16th annual Models of Pride conference (MOP 16), a free one-day conference for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer youth, (LGBTQ) and their allies (ages 14 to 23). This year’s conference will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2008, at Occidental College in Eagle Rock. The major sponsor of this annual conference is Friends of Project 10 Inc., an educational nonprofit organization that provides education and outreach for LGBTQ youth.

We would like to invite your nonprofit organization or business (for profit)* to participate in the Resource Faire (RF) that will take place that day from 12 noon to 1:30 pm. We are expecting over 600 youth from all over California and beyond! Your organization’s participation in the Resource Faire event would provide an excellent outreach opportunity to LGBTQ youth. All organizations that participate in the Resource Faire will be listed in the conference program with your Web URL link.  We would like to encourage you to be a sponsor of this important event.

Organizations that are in the process of obtaining their nonprofit status may contact the Friends of Project 10 Inc. office to request a “scholarship” for a resource table. Contact us at project10@hotmail.com or 626.577.4553.

Supporting Sponsor – $500 includes a RF table, lunches and chairs for all of your participants and your logo in the MOP 16 program, as part of a presentation during the entertainment session, and on the MOP 16 Web site, and a 1/2 page ad in the conference program.

Friend Sponsor – $1,000 and above includes a RF table, lunches and chairs for all of your participants, a full page ad in the MOP 16 program, your logo on the MOP 16 website and as part of a presentation during the entertainment session, a participant gift bag insert, and a full-page ad in the conference program.
