Keynote Speaker Announced for PPI

David Windsor, co-creator and Executive Producer of ABC’s hit show “The Real O’Neals” will deliver the keynote during the Opening Session at this year’s conference.

Models of Pride 25 and the LifeWorks youth development department of the Los Angeles LGBT Center are proud to announce David Windsor as one of the keynote speakers for this year’s Parent & Professional Institute (PPI) on October 29, 2017.

David brings a unique perspective to the conference, having had two incredibly loving and supportive gay dads. David is honored to be able to share the stories of the LGBTQ community as well as to foster a dialogue for those that are outside it.

David & his writing partner of 15 years, Casey Johnson, have worked on such television hits as “Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place,” “Galavant,” “Don’t Trust The B---- In Apartment 23,” and “Mr. Sunshine.” One of David’s most well-renown works, “The Real O’Neals,” is about a sixteen-year-old boy who comes out as gay to his family, subsequently inspiring them to reveal their own secrets. “The Real O’Neals” premiered in March 2016 on ABC and ran for two seasons. David served as an executive producer and showrunner. He is now developing multiple shows for ABC Studios, one of which was written by Rob Sudduth and is about a gay couple who decides to move back to Texas with their eight-year-old son so they can be closer to their family.
