LGBTQA stands for: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning/Queer and Asexual/Ally.
Models of Pride is a FREE conference event. There is no cost to attend but parking fees do apply.
Please note: For those driving to the conference there is a $12 parking fee (please see maps for designated parking locations). Also some exhibitor’s may sell merchandise but it is by no means obligatory to purchase their materials. All workshops and events are FREE.
The conference is intended to benefit LGBTQA youth (up to age 24). However, Models of Pride has something to offer everyone. Whether you are a college student, adult ally, or professional there is always something to learn at Models at Pride. We invite anyone who is interested in addressing the needs of the LGBTQA community to form part of the conference.
Absolutely! We welcome anyone interested in advancing LGBTQA causes. Allies (people who do not identify as LGBTQ but support the community) are essential in creating safe spaces for LGBTQ individuals and progressing our cultural climate. You are more than welcome to participate!

Late Registration will close at 1:15pm so please arrive before 1:15pm if you want to participate in the conference. If you have to leave early, that is no problem.
The conference is called “Models of Pride” to celebrate the past, current, and future role models who take pride in their affiliation with the LGBTQA community.
There will be guest speakers and performers. While we do announce some celebrities, we keep some surprises hidden till the day of the conference. In past years performances by Kathy Griffin, Todrick Hall, cast members from the hit show Glee, dancers from League of Extraordinary Dancers, the cast of The Fosters and an address from the Oscar-winning screenwriter of Milk, Mr. Dustin Lance Black have been included as part of the conference’s events. This year once again we look forward to an exciting entertainment schedule.
Through its array of workshops, Models of Pride is designed to inform, encourage, and inspire LGBTQA youth. The conference provides a safe and positive environment where attendees can network and learn about topics often times excluded from academic settings. Ultimately, we hope the conference assists participants in acquiring the information and skills necessary to become proactive agents of change in their communities.
We welcome volunteers. We need over 100 volunteers to make this conference a success. Please fill out the application on our website.
